Join us as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Baker’s Way, our exclusive collection of cake pans and decorating accessories.
Inspired by Mary Turain in 2014, Way Library’s cake pan collection Baker’s Way began with 80 cake pans.
On the 10th anniversary of the collection, Baker’s Way has flourished to over 250 cake pans and accessories.
Enter our Cake Decorating Contest by June 30, 2024.
Bake and decorate a cake for any occasion (birthday, graduation, Father’s Day, Summer, etc.) and submit a 5"x7" photo of your cake and a completed entry form.
Rules and Guidelines
- Only amateur bakers may enter the contest.
- The cake must be baked in a pan from the Baker’s Way cake pan collection at Way Library.
- Categories available to enter are Adult, Family, Teen (11-17 years old), Youth (10 years old and under), and a new category Adventure! The Adventure! category is open to all ages and families.
- The official entry form and a 5”x7” color photograph of the cake must be submitted by June 30, 2024. Please, no people in the cake photos.
- Limit two entries per person per category.
Pictures of the cakes will be displayed for voting at Way Library from July 8 - July 31.
Prizes will be awarded in each category. Votes received will determine the People’s Choice winners in each of the categories. There will also be a special Staff’s Choice award in each category chosen by the Way Library staff.
Winners will be announced at a reception at Way Library on Tuesday, August 6 at 1 pm. All contestants and their families are welcome to attend this reception.

Pictures of cakes may be used by Way Library for future promotional purposes and will not be returned.
