It's that time of year again! Way Public Library will once again be hosting an Electronics Recycling Drive with RecellOne!

After our hugely successful electronics recycling drive last year, and in celebration of Earth Day, we once again welcome patrons to drop off no-longer-used or broken personal electronics and home appliances for our partners at RecellOne to properly recycle, reuse, or dispose of to avoid ending up in a landfill. Here is just a small list of accepted devices:

  • Laptop and desktop computers
  • Flat screen TVs (no CRT or projection TVs)
  • Smartphones and tablets
  • Batteries
  • Home appliances (microwaves, blenders, coffee makers, etc.)
  • Game consoles, DVD and Blu-ray players
  • Extension cords and holiday lights (no fluorescent bulbs)
  • Home office equipment (printers, fax machines, paper shredders, etc.)
  • And much more!

In the case that some hardware may be able to be reused, RecellOne certifies that all data is completely and properly destroyed before any reuse. If you would like to be notified with a certificate of data destruction, at the event you will be able to leave your name and email address, and once Way Library receives the certificate of destruction, a copy will be forwarded on to you. If you have any questions regarding what items can be dropped off, please contact Nicholas Sluka, Systems Administrator, at 419-874-3135 ext. 103 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
